Here is the short version of how Gaming PC Gadgets works: we research gaming mice, keyboards, headsets and microphones from documented sources, we verify the facts, and nobody pays for a spot in our guides. The details follow.
Who decides what we recommend
Our editors do. Peripheral brands, retailers and advertisers have no access to articles before publication and no ability to change what we say about a product.
Money and rankings
There are no paid placements on Gaming PC Gadgets and no sponsored rankings. A company cannot pay to have its mouse, keyboard or headset included, or to move it higher. We do earn affiliate commissions on qualifying purchases, as described in our affiliate disclosure, but commissions do not shape our picks.
Samples and relationships
We currently do not accept review units in exchange for coverage. If that changes, or if anyone writing for us has a connection to a brand featured in an article, the article will say so.
Our sourcing rules
Manufacturer specifications are our primary source for figures such as weight, polling rate, driver size and battery life. For performance data, we use independent sources such as audio measurement databases and peripheral review sites. Owner reports from verified-purchase reviews and forums help us find durability and comfort patterns, but we do not treat them as measurements.
We never publish a number without a source. When two sources disagree, for example two frequency response graphs for the same headset, we note the difference, consider factors like ear pad condition or the measurement setup used, and either explain which is more relevant or present both.
Where AI fits
AI tools assist us with research, outlining and drafting. A human editor edits each article and checks its facts. AI is never used to make up specs, measurements or test results.
When we update
Articles are reviewed when new models launch, when firmware or software updates change a product, when prices shift, and when readers flag problems. The latest update date appears on each article.
Reporting mistakes
Send corrections through our contact page. We confirm each report against sources and fix errors we find.
